Microneedling: What to expect?

Here at Apneet Aesthetics, California, U.S.A we now offer one of the newest and most advanced cosmetic procedures named Microneedling to help rejuvenate your facial skin and make you look youthful and radiant.

How does microneedling work?

Microneedling is an FDA-approved minimally invasive aesthetic procedure at Apneet aesthetic, microneedling near me, that helps stimulate blood circulation in your face. Hence it is usually performed to improve the texture of your face by increasing collagen production. The dermatologist/cosmetologist here will first brief you with the entire procedure and ask for any allergies or past medical history. Following which you will be asked to sign consent. On the day of the procedure, you will be first treated with either a local anesthetic solution or anesthetic cream all over your treatment site, and then the doctor will map the areas which need correction. Later, once the anesthesia sets in, the doctor will start pricking the concerned areas with multiple tiny needles to facilitate new collagen and elastin production- a defense mechanism of the body to heal the wounds naturally. These very compounds are responsible to make your skin look fresh and feel healthy. This microneedling facial procedure is almost painless and comfortable owing to the small size of the needles. The procedure usually takes 10-20 minutes, depending on how huge the treatment area is. Most people typically get microneedling with PRP done on the face, but it can also do on other parts of the body, like your stomach or thighs.
